Family and Relational Therapy

FAMILY AND RELATIONAL THERAPY

We all engage in various relationships, whether with romantic partners, friends, family, or colleagues, which greatly contribute to our overall well-being and sense of stability. It’s crucial to recognize and foster healthy interpersonal connections while establishing appropriate boundaries. My aim is to assist you in understanding your role within these relationships and how they impact your life.

In family therapy, we focus on improving communication, identifying areas of conflict and tension, and also how each member is perceived. Generational trauma and cultural concerns may be addressed as well depending on the needs of the family unit. The goal is to cultivate a healthier family dynamic and encourage emotional healing.

Relational therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on the relationships and interactions between people, particularly within the context of a couple. The primary goal of this therapeutic approach is to enhance the understanding and quality of the bond between partners. Some key elements of relational therapy are emotional safety and trust, fostering deeper connections, and improving communication styles.

“The quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationships.”
